The Annual Meeting highlights the accomplishments of the association over the past year, awards scholarships to college-bound students, and introduces its board of directors. The event kicks off with a cocktail hour to network, featuring a marketplace with RIBBA vendors.In 2022, RIBBA made strides in expanding, deepening, and strengthening its programming, services, and outreach. In addition to its advocacy for minority businesses, RIBBA is committed to building a strong leadership pipeline and will introduce you to its 2023 Emerging Leaders graduating class. This year’s keynote speaker Amy Walshis Amy Walsh, Executive Director of Commercial Banking at JP Morgan Chase. Amy is a dynamic speaker and a University of Rhode Island graduate. She has over 20 years of experience helping business clients meet their financial goals and has owned a manufacturing company.

The Annual Meeting is for RIBBA members, is open to the public, and will be attended by elected officials, community and business leaders representing diverse industries. Join us as RIBBA celebrates 13 years as the premier local organization doing intentional work to help minority-owned small businesses grow and scale.

Founded in 2011, RIBBA has become an established presence and force in the Rhode Island community. RIBBA has been a firm and consistent voice advocating for equity, diversity and inclusion for all of us. Our programmatic focus has been on the development and growth of minority businesses.
