Dear Members and supporters:

RIBBA continues to work diligently to serve its mission, members, and the community. Since our formation in 2010, the association has dedicated itself to providing assistance to Black and Minority businesses within Rhode Island. We strongly believe all businesses should be given the opportunity to achieve their full potential. RIBBA has built a strong collaborative organizational framework that reflects the people, businesses, and communities it serves.

Today, RIBBA is gaining prominence across all minority communities. Its progressive leadership is giving voice to the importance of economic development and job creation, while also directing attention to the issues that affect minority businesses. This is resulting in greater influence, a positive perception in the marketplace, strategic alliances, and economic development for its member businesses, supporters, and the community.

You, our members and supporters, play an important role in shaping RIBBA into a dynamic, expanding, and results-orientated business association. Since its inception, the Association has moved quickly and effectively in galvanizing the Black and Minority Business Community to work more closely together than ever before.

A vital aspect of fostering successful business relationships with our membership community will be your commitment to using RIBBA’s website; particularly, the online business directory (located under the “Directory” tab). The website will continue to be enhanced to provide valuable news, information, and resources to benefit members and the community. By effectively utilizing this powerful tool, you will play an important role in introducing and advancing your potential to attract more business within the association’s membership community.

If you are a member, thank you for your support. If you are not, please consider joining. Without your financial support, RIBBA cannot do the work to help minority businesses grow. Stay tuned to our ever-changing website, because here you will find out the latest information on major events such as the Annual Awards Gala, Business Development Forums, and other special events. I also urge you to join one of our committees; as smart and articulate business people, you are always an enhancement to our organization.

RIBBA is here to lead the growth and development of Minority Businesses throughout Rhode Island, and to help our communities rise even higher. Be a part of the excitement, so you and your business can be a part of this economic renaissance for Minority-Owned Businesses! The leadership team stands ready and prepared to accept the challenge to help your business grow. We look forward to seeing you at one of our many RIBBA events, and to your achievement of personal and financial success as a member of RIBBA.
